1.0 About Grapefruit Seed Extract (GFSE)

Grapefruit is a citrus fruit. Extract from the seeds of the grapefruit are valued for their medicinal qualities. The benefits of Grapefruit Seed Extract (GFSE) were first noted in 1972 by physicist Dr. Jacob Harich who observed its broad spectrum use as an antibacterial and antiviral remedy. University of Georgia researchers determined that GFSE is an effective antiviral, anti-fungal, anti-parasitic agent.

Grapefruit seed extract is not an 100% natural product. The manufacturing process to make GFSE involves intense processing. GFSE is made with:
  1. Pulverized grape fruit seeds
  2. Ammonium chloride
  3. Glycerin
  4. Hydrochloric acid
  5. Natural enzymes
  6. Vitamin C
GFSE is an alternative medicine that should be used only when necessary. It should not be used on a daily long-term basis.

Grapefruit seeds contain active components that fight:
  • Bacteria
  • Fungus
  • Inflammation
